While Jews remain overwhelmingly liberal and “Democratic” there are seeds of Jewish political expression that can be found within the Tea Party Movement. In 2011 Steven Windmueller had the opportunity to examine the political ideas and behaviors of a selected group of Jewish voters; this piece attempts to capture their ideas, while seeking to understand the basis of their involvement. How representative do you believe these “voices” are within Jewish life? What other perspectives are today driving Jewish political expression?
